I’ve been working on a research study for the last year about Mind-Body health treatments. There are limitations to what Western bio-medicine can do, and Eastern approaches to staying healthy are becoming more and more popular.
In this video, Mind-Body research pioneer and integrative medicine advocate Marilyn Schlitz asks, “What does it mean to be a healthy individual in a sick society?” She talks about the physical, psychological and whole system healing that needs to happen in order for individuals to become more healthy.
Kent and I went to this conference on Consciousness and Healing for our honeymoon last year, and did a number of other interviews there as well.
Update: The New Medicine is a great website that contains video information about integrative healing approaches for various conditions.
